Have fun with Intaglio printmaking art! Intaglio is a type of printmaking where your design is incised into a plate with a sharp tool such as an etching needle. Plates can be made of different materials – copper, zinc, plexiglass, etc.
For this workshop, we use the most ecological material: paper. You will create an original printmaking art out of Tetra Pak – a type of food package (e.g., juice pack, milk carton) that can be upcycled and used as an etching plate. No prior printmaking experience is required.
