New Growth

There’s something cozy about the new spring rays of sun that melt the cool blues of winter, and out of this juxtaposition arises neon green growth. After I finished the piece, I noticed I unintentionally emphasized the mare’s round belly. Implying a maternal wisdom, my title took on new meaning.
