Queen Anne’s Lace

It was the summer I planted my kitchen scraps in the weed patch/ “pollinator garden.” Queen Anne’s Lace shot up over 7′ tall, so that on my barefoot morning strolls through the dewy garden, I looked UP into those lace doilies, still blue before the kiss of the first sunbeams.
