Marsh Life

This painting was inspired in part by the novel “Where the Crawdads Sing” by Delia Owens. I grew up in Louisiana and the marshes, swamps, and prolific area wildlife are great subjects for paintings. I particularly love painting birds and the Blue Heron is my favorite.
