Mother of Pearls

For Spring, and in time for Mother’s Day, I chose a theme of birth/re-birth. The sand, sea, and oyster are symbolic of the start of a new season reminiscent of childhood and long-gone vacations with my mother. The color green symbolizes renewal, and the pearls are symbolic of birth.
