Nature and natural materials are the focus of the Organica show at the Falls Church Arts Gallery.
Thirty artists exhibit works “inspired by or made with organic elements.” More than 10 mediums and materials, ranging from encaustic to burlap are included in these works, which run the gamut from sculpture, paintings, and photography to original prints, fiber art, and ceramics. Each artwork has a description of the artist’s motivation for the work and the medium used.
