This class will use a single color to create a monochromatic painting. It is an excellent option for anyone who wants to learn oil painting. It is a great starting point for building your confidence and getting comfortable with oil painting. This exercise is great for beginners because it shows how important values are in painting. It also teaches that understanding form is more important than the actual color. (Students bring supplies.)
Oyunaa Waskin
Oyunaa Waskin is a self-taught artist, so she understands students’ struggles. She enjoys sharing her knowledge of various techniques and mediums with them. In addition to teaching at Falls Church Arts, Oyunaa Waskin works and teaches from her home studio in Fairfax, VA. She has received several awards from both international and national competitions.
