Students will learn the basics of painting “en plein air” in the Little City of Falls Church and how to approach drawing and painting outside. We will do studies directly from the Falls Church “cityscape” and transition into 1 to 2 finished painting(s) by the end of the workshop. We will meet on location each day in Falls Church, and location will be emailed to students before the workshop. Students may choose to submit their work from this class to the Falls Church Arts “Scenes in the City” Plein Air Festival.
