When you are finally ready to paint abstractly and you’re excited about it, do you get stymied because of all the options available to you and all the avenues you could go down? Having too many choices can be paralyzing, but instructor Bryan Jernigan will guide you through the abstract process, giving you boundaries that will allow you to dive in and discover the infinite possibilities within them. You’ll explore compositional formats, learn the power of value and delve deeply into colors that will set you on a path of “informed intuitive” painting. It’s fun and illuminating, and you’ll walk away more confident in your abilities to paint expressively.

*The instructor encourages acrylics, but oils are acceptable as long as students have prior experience with them.
