*Students will need to leave their mosaics at the gallery to cure for a minimum of 48 hours before taking them home.

Using stained glass shards in every color imaginable, participants will design a set of three mosaic ornaments. Using high-grade glass repair epoxy, the participants will attach their mosaics to clear glass that can then be hung to let light pass through. This mosaic class is perfect for anyone to join, regardless of experience or how creative you “think” you are.

Miriam Julianna is a social practice artist who completed an apprenticeship in traditional leaded glass in 2021 and has been running her own stained glass studio, Glass Class DC, since 2023. When asked what her part of working with stained glass is, her answer is always teaching. Her artistic practices include storytelling/origami crane folding, quilting, image making, and stained glass.
