Students will measure and try out different tools to cut an 8×10 white mat with a 5×7 opening, which they can then take home. We will illustrate the flow of steps from your artwork to the complete frame package, with helpful advice for do-it-yourself, going to a frame shop, and any combination of those. Glass cutting will be demonstrated. Ornamenting mats and shadow boxes will be discussed. Students should bring a 5×7 image and (optional) an 8×10 frame with glass.
