Each October since 2008, store windows in downtown Falls Church have come alive with images of bats, witches, scarecrows, pumpkins and ghosts—the friendly kind—through the Falls Church Halloween Window Painting Festival, sponsored by Falls Church Arts.

Painting days are over, so be sure to take a stroll (or a drive) to see the Halloween-themed designs on storefront windows along Falls Church City’s major thoroughfares.

Each year, everyone is invited to register, using the form that is available at the Halloween Window Painting Festival website. Paint is supplied and is handed out at Mr. Brown’s Park, 100 block of W. Broad St. Adult volunteers to help hand out paint are welcome! read more….
