Easter is approaching! We invite everyone to take part in a master class on creating a tribute to Easter – pysanka. Pysanka is an elaborately painted Easter egg in a traditional Ukrainian style. The production of Easter eggs is associated with the pre-Christian folk custom to celebrate spring, with the awakening of the earth, the beginning of agricultural work, and later with Easter. You will come into contact with the ancient traditions of painting eggs, learn the meanings of patterns, and create your own small, unique work of art or maybe even an amulet, because, as you know, an egg is a symbol of life, and the applied patterns complement and fill it with goodness, love, and light.
