Luscious flowers in simple, but dramatic settings…what more could you want on your walls? And in pastel, they are easier than you may think. With just a few simple steps, you can create your own for show or sale. Soft pastel is a forgiving medium and a great place to begin your love affair with the artistic rendering of nature in its purest form. Pastel is a dry medium, so it’s easy to make edits, and keeping the species the same in each piece makes creating each new piece a snap. Once you understand the basics in the morning session, Jernigan will walk you through a few flower varieties so you can practice in the afternoon. By the end of the day, the classroom will be overflowing with beautiful bouquets!
