Bookcase

I made this painting to hang in my house in a space between two bookcases. There is a welded skeletal animal sculpture that I made circa 1969 on top of one of the bookcases. In keeping with its surroundings, this “painting” is of a bookcase and I made an updated version of that skeletal animal out of canvas and placed it on this bookcase, reading one of the books. I have also added several other creatures.
