Blue Annular Pot Melt – Bowl

Scraps of blues, clear, white and orange art glass have been heated in a kiln at temperatures up to 1500 degrees Fahrenheit for the first firing, in an annular pot. The glass melts through holes in the ceramic pot, into a steel former creating a blank. It is fired 2 additional times to create the finished bowl, a total of 59 hours.
