Discover where to see New Deal public art in DC and hear a discussion of the importance of New Deal art and of dealing with controversial public art. The newly printed Living New Deal map of the “Public Works and Art of the New Deal in Washington DC” will serve as an introduction to over 500 sites of projects done during the FDR administration.


Richard Walker – Richard Walker is Executive Director of the Living New Deal and professor emeritus of Geography at the University of California, Berkeley.

Sarah Gordon – Sarah Gordon is curator at the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities and Adjunct Professor of Art at American University.
