Mastering Landscape in Soft Pastel (Aug 3-4, 2024)

Instructor: Bryan Jernigan

Saturday and Sunday | August 3-4, 2014 | 10:00 am-4:00 pm | all levels | $275 | pastels | Falls Church Arts Gallery

In just one weekend, instructor Bryan Jernigan will share his secrets for creating believable, impressionistic landscapes with soft pastel. From aerial perspective to sky holes that give trees that realistic look, Jernigan will step you through pastel papers, colors, and theories you can employ to create paintings you’ll love to display in your own home or sell to others. Jernigan even includes a framing demo that will give you a professional look and save you hundreds of dollars over using a regular framer.
