Using traditional methods, a range of techniques, and a variety of recycled and other materials, participants will create either a traditional Venezuelan Yare mask or an “action” mask based on their own vivid imaginations. Learn to make fun masks for Halloween, carnivals, and masquerades.
Adult students must have completed vaccination for Covid-19.
David Camero
David Camero is an artist-educator, mixed media painter, and mask-maker. He graduated from the University Central of Venezuela. He considers himself to have been an artist from childhood, expressing himself through the years by drawing, painting, and making collages, puppets, and imaginative landscapes. He has participated in solo and group exhibitions in various countries. He has also been involved in theatrical projects and looks for relationships between the visual arts and their modes of expression. read more…
