Learn the antique paper art of quilling. Now enjoying renewed popularity, quilling involves rolling strips of paper into shapes and then gluing them into a design. It can be used as an ornamental border, for greeting cards, images, and even 3-D objects. This class will teach the basic elements, and then we will follow a pattern to make a quilled birthday card. All tools and materials will be provided.
Naomi Lipsky
Naomi Lipsky is an experienced teacher who has been quilling for 40 years. She is accredited by the Quilling Guild of Great Britain. Most recently, she taught at the Cherrydale library in Arlington. She has also taught 2-day quilling intensives at the School for Bookbinding Arts in Winchester, VA.
