Fabric, Faith, Family, Furry Friends. Color, Cutting, Canvas, Creating. Put these together and you have my artwork. First I create my own design from an image that makes me happy. Next I freehand cut pretty fabric-usually recycling mine or I can use your sentimental fabric as well. I might oil paint a background to give a stimulating multidimensional effect. Then I sew by hand to let you see every stitch that binds us together. Your hand naturally reaches out to investigate the tactile image-and you may when it is in your collection. These make me smile and I hope they make you smile as well. I credit my two stints in kindergarten with my dedication to crayons and scissors.
