I am a photo artist who loves playing with apps. I grew up in Hawai’i, but currently live in Falls Church. I was an elementary classroom teacher and School Based Technology Specialist for Fairfax County Public Schools. I have served as president of the Virginia Macintosh Users Group and Vice President, photographer, and ‘ukulele performer for the Hawai’i State Society of Washington, D.C. I bought my first SLR camera prior to going to Liberia, Ghana, Kenya, and Egypt in 1975, with radio personalities Harden and Weaver. That got me started with photographing animals. Flowers are also one of my favorite subjects. I grew up in Hawai’i, so I’ve seen and smelled some of the best! Digital photography has made it so easy to play, and relieved the financial burden of film photography. With the development of photography apps, it is possible to play ever more with captured images. I sell my work online at gini-moore.pixels.com, at the Artisans United Gallery, 4022 Hummer Rd., Annandale, VA 22003, and at the Falls Church Arts Gallery, 700 W Broad St., Falls Church, VA 22046.
