I’m Anne Meagher-Cook (pronounced Mar-Cook). I have loved and dabbled in art from an early age. I studied art at the College of William and Mary and pursued a long career in art-related fields, from graphic and exhibit design to video production, and finally e-learning development. Several years ago I discovered the joy of painting en plein air, which combines my passions for art and the great outdoors. I relish painting in the beautiful environs of Northern Virginia, soaking up my surroundings – and using oils, brushes and palette knife to convey an expression of each place and moment in time.
