Andrea Raggambi
I am a self-taught artist who has always been creative. I started taking pottery classes when I was a teen and began painting abstract acrylics in my 20’s. I lived in Arlington, VA where I was a member of the Arlington Arts Alliance where I was able to show and sell a few pieces during local installations. These pieces though were quite large. I moved to Falls Church in November of 2019 and when COVID hit, I opted to try watercolor because I lacked the space to create and store pieces this large. I took online classes and started with birds as my topic. I branched out to other animals and then nature topics. I am now taking formal lessons through Falls Church Arts which has been fantastic. My full-time job is as an executive coach and leadership development professional but art has been a great additional outlet for my creativity. My vision is to contribute back to Falls Church Arts as I sell pieces in addition to donating to animal rescue organization, Lucky Dog Rescue. I believe in finding ways to give back and look forward to becoming more visible so I can grow my donations.
