Pamela Huffman is an abstract mixed media artist, curator and community organizer in the arts. Over the past few years, Pam has helped organize and juried shows in Virginia. In 2025, she held a solo show entitled “In the Absence of Nurture…Nature” — a show about intergenerational trauma — at Rare Bird. In 2024, Pam was awarded a grant to be the Curator for Idylwood Studios and its Free Little Art Gallery in Falls Church. Pam is a docent with the Smithsonian American Art Museum and its Renwick Gallery where she welcomes guests and facilitates warm, small group discussions and learning about the museums’ collections. She believes all of us are artists and that we are all capable of creating meaningful work. To that end, Pam has taught her class “Abstract Acrylic for the Absolute Beginner” at multiple art galleries in Virginia.
